Dinosaurs in Triassic Jurassic Extinction Event.

    If there was no extinction at the end of the Triassic, the Jurassic may not came so fast, and the dinosaur may have no chance to rule the Jurassic world and the Cretaceous Period but there is no if.

    At the end of the Triassic, the Central Atlantic happened a series of volcanic eruptions around it. Then the Pangea began to divide into sevarl pieces. The volcanic eruption let the CO2 went into the air, let the temperature went higher than before and cause the greenhouse effet like the extinction what just happened 50 million years before (The Permian-Triassic Extinction Event, which was the most serious extincting in the whole phanerozoic eon). It destroyed the ruler in the late Triassic: Pseudosuchia, only a few of them survived after this extinction, although some of them still exsist until now.

    So, why the most dinosaurs can survive in this extinction and rule the next period: Jurassic period? Because most of the dinosaurs have got an air sac (like bird) in their body. So they can breath with a lower oxygen air than other animals. The most of the Jurassic and Cretaceous’s dinosaur got the air sac inside of them. That’s why the Triassic-Jurassic Extinction did not affect the dinosaurs that much.
