The difference between early Jurassic and late Jurassic dinosaurs

So, why the dinosaurs looks so different in early Jurassic period and the late Jurassic period? What happened at Toarcian? Yes, you right, there was a serious of extinction at this time.

In Permian period, there is only one mainland: Pangea. At late Triassic, The Pangea began to Separate. The appearance of Atlantic ocean cause the Triassic - Jurassic Extension. Before the Toracian, the Antarctic, South America and Africa began to separate. It cause a serious of volcanic eruption. These serious cause the plant on the earth changed. The higher tree like conifer can survive in this situation. That’s so unfriendly to the Prosauropoda, they can’t digest these food, but the Eusauropoda can. This is the main reason makes the dinosaurs totally different between these 2 dynasty.
